Proven engineering methods and the pursuit of maximum achievable quality. No cable-burn-in mysticism, no reinvented wheels.
Genuine components only
Sourced from direct authorized distributors. Counterfeits are excluded — that is what makes the result predictable.
Forecast before the work
Diagnostics from service schematics and a predicted gain before inspection. Plan and quote come before your approval, not after.
Never stop learning
I follow current digital-audio research and continuously buy and analyze cutting-edge op-amps, discrete designs included.
Warranty on every job
3 to 12 months, depending on the complexity of the work.
Respect for fellow craftsmen
If your unit was already modified by another author, the first build’s valuable ideas are carefully preserved. You get the best of two designers.
Frequently asked
Do you sell ready-made DACs?
No. I upgrade your device. You buy the donor unit yourself (I’ll point you to where) or send in the one you already own.
Can I audition before committing?
No loaner units. Sound comparisons are available on my YouTube channel.
Do you do repairs?
No. I only upgrade fully working units.
